It is the SE version so has high spec including Cruise Control, Full Electric Pack (Windows,Doors & Wing Mirrors), Multi Function Steering Wheel with silver trim to match dashboard and door trim,(for anyone not familiar with a multi function steering wheel, its where there are extra controls for the radio/cd player and cruise control etc on the steering wheel.) 6 CD Changer mounted in the boot and controlled from the dashboard. Air Conditioning, which could do with being re-gassed if I`m honest, but still functions as it should. The car has 17" 5 spoke alloy wheels (only one of which has a small scuff), which set the car off really well. The black exterior trim on the car has been professionally treated and looks like new, unlike some models where it looks faded and grey. It was serviced last month (bills to prove) and had oil/oil filter replaced and had platinum tip spark plugs fitted. The car has just over 88,000 miles on the clock and is being driven daily so will increase (around 25 miles a day till the end of May). The car was bought for an employee of my partners, to use as a company car, but she has now put her notice in so the car is no longer needed (the replacement for her can`t drive, and let this be a lesson to anyone trying to persuade a member of staff to stay, dont buy them a car as they will just leave and drop you in the shat even worse by saying they will stay if you provide a nice company car for them not realising they have to pay tax on a company car so its not such a "great help" afterall...muppet) Anyway... the car is advertised elsewhere so I reserve the right to end the auction. as i no longer wish to spend any more on the car than i already have. The clock says it has done 186000 miles however i have just fitted a reconditioned engine that has only done 85000, it has also got a brand new clutch. The car it`s self is still in very good condition, there is only one little spot of rust coming through on the front left wheel arch and a large scratch on the left wing mirror, both these can be seen in my pictures, there are no dents on the car and there are only light scratchs around the paint work. The interior of the car is also still in very good condition and you can have the blue edged matts that i got for it. It comes with 4 BMW alloys which i have taken a pic off so you can see what they look like, the tyres are still in good nick as are brakes. This is a very lovely car and i`m sorry to see it go however as i say i no longer have the money to spend on it. As this is a non runner a truck will be needed to collect or i will deliver within 10 mies for £40. I have all the log book and paper work that can with it when i brought it and all since. and the last stamp unfortunately doesn`t have the mileage but was done on 2/4/2010. MOT`d to 8th September and taxed to end of June. | Car is equipped with usual SE spec of (working) air con, climate control, remote central locking, front electric windows, air bags, power steering, JVC CD/stereo, tilt steering wheel, standard tinted windows, alloys etc.etc. Car is standard with no modifications that I am aware of. | As you can see the car is in pretty good condition, it is black with a subtle metallic, there is a bit of laquer coming off the front bumper and the odd scratch but generally, it looks really quite good. Interior is good too, the drivers bolster is starting to show a bit of wear as are other bits of interior trim but again, generally quite good inside - I would rather be honest when describing | Drives very well, always starts first time even in the very cold snap last winter, I use it daily for a 60 mile round trip and the reason I am selling now it is that I have (finally) managed to get myself a 3 - series diesel (you can see it in the background of pic 4) | Very smooth and quiet when driving, the only thing I have noticed is a bit of a clunk at the back occasionally when you change gear but I understand this is just a bush and is a common E46 fault - I would have done it but 1. it doesn`t affect performance, 2. it`s not detrimental and 3. I haven`t had time! Again, I would rather be honest | Only failed on one thing when we MOT`d it last, there were a couple of advisories about tyres close to limit, indicator lenses slightly discoloured(???) and rear shocker upper rubber bushes showing wear - none of which I would lose sleep over for the next MOT. | As mentioned, I already have my new car so please, NO OFFERS FOR SWAPS OR P/EX | Any trial or inspection is welcome by prior arrangement, car is located in Carlton, Nottingham.
