and it has been a very reliable and economic car. It still drives very well and has a refined ride. The overal condition is good inside and out, there are a couple of small patches of surface rust (see pictures) and there are a couple of tiny areas of bubbling which could be easily treated. The drivers side wing mirror has recently been caught by another car (this can be easily fixed). It is taxed and MOTd untill October 2012, I have service history. The interior is in very good condition. Recently the fan control switch has broken which means the climate control fan strength can not be controlled but the temperature can be and the air conditioning works perfectly. This is a accurate and honest description of the car, apart from the small things I have mentioned this car will be an excellent purchase. I am only selling it to fund my driving instructors course. by BMW, so as you can imagine was very well looked after. As such, there is full BMW service history up to the point I purchased it. The vehicle has recently had an oil service (next one not due for 12000 miles), recently had front and rear brakes, plus a new clutch and duel mass flywheel (this alone was nearly £1000) The car runs like a dream, it still pulls as it should, plenty of power and oomph when required, yet still delivers around about 50mpg average. The interior is in good condition with no rips or tears. The bodywork is near enough perfect, there is obviously the odd stone chip etc but there are no dents / scrapes etc. Bearing in mind the mileage, it is in fantastic nick. The car is only being sold as I`m opting for something that is congestion charge free. ago from a dealer in London who was a second owner, first owner had this car for 9 years, I`m the third one. Car is perfect, in these two years I had it, it was flawless and never let me down, as you can expect from a BMW. As I like cars a lot Im working with cars as well so there is a lot what has been changed on this car, just because I had a chance, time and space to do it, plus I was thinking that I will keep this car till the end of his life so I was making sure of that. I`ve used Redex with every fuelling, oil and oil filter has been changed every 5000 miles or once in 6 months and EGR valve has been cleaned with every oil change as well. Drives superb, sound is perfect and is doing 50MPG as its a diesel.Please note that this is a 136bhp version, NOT 150bhp version what suffers intake flap and turbo issues.Good points: - Oil changed every 5000 miles or once per 6 months ( still got one new oil filter so the buyer can have it ) - Redex used with every fuelling ( still got one or two bottles so the buyer can have them) - Crankcase breather filter has been swapped for a new style tube plastic one so there is no need to change it again, ever. - Fuel filter changed in december 2011 - Front drop links changed - Wishbones changed (complete setup) - Pipercross Air filter (not cone, proper bmw shape) - De-catted (passed MOT without problems + nice whinning noise from freed up turbo) - Professionally remapped by ECU evolutions in Northampton (still got receipt, never measured the bhp as i needed remap to get better mpg) - Crankshaft pulley changed (common problem with these bmw`s as the rubber inbetween gets old) - M3 style wing mirrors - Front indicators changed for black ones with clear glass - Xenon headlights (6000k - as white as possible) - Front grill repainted in black - Cruise control - Reversing parking sensors - Quite rare gold colour - CD player as standard - Electric windows all around - Remote central locking - Two central locking keys + plastic one when you loose them two + one without central locking option = 4 keys in total - Fan belt tensioner changed (was cheap and I was bored :) - Full BMW service history till 89000 miles - MOT 06/2012Bad points: - No TAX(run out end of jan) - Sometimes the airbag light will come on on dashboard when passenger sit next to driver(common problem with bmws, 10 pounds fix from ebay) - will be fixed if the car will go for the right price. - Bodywork not perfect ( as you would expect from a car whats 10 years old - stone chips mainly, nothing major)viewing welcome, cash on collection, collection only, will need to be towed as i dont have insurance anymore and there is no tax.Any question please phone or text me. This car was registered on 10 January 2008, so has the updated 177 engine, but just pre-dates the cosmetic facelift where they changed the shape of the bonnet. It is the SE model with all the toys, and additionally has a seat upgrade fitted - the front seats are the deeper sport type, with adjustable squab and side cushions, and best of all at this time of year heating! Other than that the car is completely standard. It is in excellent condition inside and out, and everything works as it should. I always look after my vehicles and have sold to happy customers before on ebay (please check my feedback).I bought this car from Car Giant on 6 March 2011, I paid in cash and trhere is no finance outstanding. At the time I bought a 2 year AA warranty, the second year of which can be transferred to the new owner for a £35 fee. I also had the upholstery and paintwork treated with Gard X. They are easily accessible from underneath so could be fixed by dentmaster or similar for not much money (I might get round to doing this before the sale)- It`s a black car so the odd minor scuff or light scratch can be seen on close inspection. You would have to look close to see anything and there is nothing bad enough to appear on the photos- A couple of minor scuffs to the edges of the alloys from kerbs- At the recent service the garage identified a slight weep from the gearbox sump seal, and suggested it is checked again in a year. It doesn`t require any action now. This is what they wrote on the invoice: "Note - slight weep - gearbox oil - gearbox sump very minor leak".That`s it, this is a really nice car and I`m in two minds about selling it.
