invoice from Gerrards Cross BMW in 1989 where my granddad purchased the car for £27.297.22. We also have every MOT to present and all the service history paperwork and stamps in the service book. We have all the keys. Always garaged from new and i can honestly say its never seen a rainy day, only good old British summers. | The Car | BMW 325I Sport Convertible Automatic | MOT-04-2013 | TAX-08-2012 | Finshed in metallic Royal blue paintwork with no dents not even parking dings because it was only taken out when the weather was nice and never left unoccupied. There is no rust or any corrosion on the bodywork or underneath. | Beige leather interior which are in very very good condition with no rips atall and has never been smoked in atall. It has the orginal carpets that came with the car from the factory inc the stereo. Basically everything in and outside the car is ORIGINAL. | The manual roof is immaculate and is always treated to preserve the mohair. I would say it looks brand new with only minor ware when opening and closing. | The wheels are original and in very good condition with only minor kerb marks on them, which me and my brother have touched up and are impossible to notice. The tyres are literally new because we decided to renew them for the mot. | The engine is a 2.5 litre straight six engine which is one of bmw`s classic creations which pulls like a train. It has been serviced every 5,000miles with the cambelt changed twice during its life for peace of mind. No rattles or odd noises what so ever, we took the car to our local bmw dealer and paid £65 for them to just check the car over and the mechanic said it was one of the cleanest ones he has ever seen. ago at a price I couldn`t refuse. I hoped to be able to keep them both but now realise I can`t afford it so, with regret, the E30 needs to be sold.The car is a 1990 BMW 325i convertible and is a manual with cloth heated seats. The hood is manual and I have had a brand new canvas in dark blue fitted so rear window is new too.The car has also just had a full service including oil, spark plugs, air filter, coolant, cambelt, tensioners and alternator and pas belts. It ran very well indeed when I bought it, but due to low mileage covered in the last few years hadn`t had a service done recently so I had it carried out. The temp gauge was reading very low due to a sticking thermostat, so the this was changed at the same time and it also had a new set of wiper blades. It has a service book full of BMW dealer stamps including the most recent service in December. I have also fitted a brand new rear silencer as the old one had been replaced with a DTM upswept exhaust which did not look good! Car is in very good condition through out, the drivers seat sponge and cloth has been replaced with a second hand item at some point so no rips, tears or wear. It also has heated front seats which work well.The bodywork is in very good condition, I had it machine polished and it has come up really well. Wheel edges have been refurbished so look really great, tyres are nearly new and all have about 7mm of tread left on them. One of the foglights was cracked and letting in water so this has been replaced with a new unit.The car drives really well with clutch and gearbox in excellent condition. All electric windows and central locking work as they should, no known faults with car. Has single play cd player with usb socket.Car has covered 164,000 miles in total, though only done about 10k in last 10 years, it has been very well looked after and feels like it has only covered half that mileage. It is clear the car has had a lot of money spent on it over the years, including the not inconsiderable amount I have spent on it. I would encourage any inspection of the car to support this. The car has just passed an MOT so has 12 months MOT until May 2013 and has tax until end of September 2012.I do not expect to cover all the costs I have incurred on the car and am asking a fair price for it. 30 June 2012. Owned and driven carefully (local miles only) by one lady owner since 1994. Lots of photos show honest representation of the overall condition of the bodywork, as it does require some rust bodywork repairs to bring it back to its classic condition. The acetate rear window of the original soft top hood is opaque with age and has some cracks that have been sealed internally with clear tape.
