car originally to restore to its former glory as these are getting quite rare now when i bought the car it was one of the straightest i could find with just a few issues to contend with mechanically and a bit of paint restoration to be done the plan was to drive it on and off for six months or so and see how reliable it was and change things as they went wrong then put it in the garage finish it off and then paint it the car has been as good as gold and only let me down once due to a water pipe splitting apart from that it has been great unfortunatly around christmas time when i was due to put it in my garage to strip it ready for the last few jobs it was broken into and vandalised when i stayed at a friends overnight bootlock was broken and spoiler was ripped half off , bootlock now fixed and spoiler put back but led light in it not working and spoilers fixings are buggered but not noticable unless you look from inside boot lid since then i have kind of lost interest with it and havent used it much the car still drives and has mot and tax , 117000 miles on the clock the exterior of the car is the usual m sport kit and bumpers etc as with all genuine sports , front bumper being brand new as i replaced this a week after buying the car hence why its not colour coded i have also replaced the wheels and tyres with ac schnitzer 18"rims with 225/40/18 pirelli p zero tyres only a few months old , also has ac badges instead of the usual bm stock ones the body is still very clean for the year with only one rust spot on the whole car located on the rear arch, there is on small dent under the passenger wing mirror, apart from that there are a few paint blemishes as the car had some clutch fluid tipped on it which was in the boot at the time of the breakin, the boot taking the most of it and peeling, this aside though it still puts most e36 to shame. the interior is limited edition champagne leather which has usual wear to brivers bolster but no tears or burns anywhere and again very clean compared to most others i have seen, it also has wood pack and ac schnitzer alloy bagde over glove box engine is the usual 2.8 lump which runs beautiful and quick but has had the bigger inlet manifold fitted for increased torque and also has a cda carbon fibre airbox set up etc ( look it up and the airbox is over £200 alone) jobs that this car needs are very basic for a mechanically minded person which are as follows 1, brakes need replacing ( ebay has a full set on here brand new for about £70 quid front and back discs and pads) 2, small leak from power stearing pipe 3, would benefit from auto gearbox oil change as starting to stick at times ( basically oil change gasket and filter ) 4, paint work overall this is still a very solid car which still turns heads and drives , parts alone its worth a lot so wont be giving it away so no stupid emails with silly offers will probably put back in garage and carry out the work later on and keep it if i dont get any good offers or bids any questions are welcome and no i wont say what the reserve is before anyone asks cash on collection happy bidding advertised elsewhere so reserve the right to cancel X | £185.09 | |||||||

Since then I had the alloys sprayed and the windows tinted and fitted the clear top rear lights and I think it sets the car off nicely. I also changed the dipped beam and front fog light bulbs to white ones so they go with the xenons. | Last month I changed the front disk brake pads to Brembo ones so the car stops great and at the same time took it for MOT and it went thru with no advisorys so it has 11months MOT and TAX is until 31.07.12 so 3months left on that. | In december last year i had new castrol antifreeze put in for the winter and i had the thermostat and housing changed along with the rear trailing arm bushes. | The car is a real easy drive with the auto box and with the smooth and powerful engine. | I have 3 key fobs for the car and all the BMW booklets and service manuals along with the past 4 MOT certificates. | There is 1 tiny dent on the drivers door which is hardly noticable, other than that the body is imaculate. | If you are also looking at 325 and 330 try getting a insurance quote because the 328Ci came in at £500 cheaper for me. | Its a reluctant sale but time has come for it to go. | Im located in Barnet London 5mins from Junction 23 of the M25. | Definately one of the best and lowest mileage 328Ci out there right now! | Cash on collection please. thousand miles but will go up slightly as in everyday use. its pretty standard apart from upgraded panel filter, lowering caps on the springs and the golf tee mod to the exhaust flap. this car goes very well and sounds very nice with no unusual engine or gearbox noise.bad points, slight whine from the thrust bearing which hasnt been any issue to me as it hasnt got any worse, there is a couple of knocks from the front on bushs and the lower rear shock bushs i just havnt had the time to sort this out. also it has the nearside rear arch has surface rust and there is a scab on the drivers door neither are serious, also bottom edge of bootlis has very light surface rust starting to show but not eating in yet. I have only owned this car for a couple of months but due to my commute and being sat in traffic it is a bit thirsty for me, i am looking out for a 125 cc bike if you buy mine il buy yours ebay rules ?? winning bidder to make contact within 48 hours please, thanks for looking. and it still drives very well. It has an MOT until April next year, 2 brand new Dunlop tires on the front. It has a 12 button computor with dual fuel economy readers. Electric sunroof and front windows. Sport seats which are very comfortable. The spare wheel is an alloy rather than a space saver. There is a few marks on the body work but only what you wouold expect from a 16 year old car. The brake pad warning light is on, the brake pads are fine, when I changed them I was unable to re-set the sensor. seats (side bolster is not knackered!) duel zone climate control with air conditioning, sunroof, 4x electric windows, sony cd head unit. Car has a few rust bubbles on the arches and has at some point had paint on the nsr quarter,few bits of the wood trim not 100%, leather is a little scuffed. However she cleans up very well and drives superbly with smooth shifts from the auto box. Was used for my daily commute up and down the m11 & m25 and gave very good fuel consumption, has a good turn of speed when required to do so and does it all with a lovely smooth ride. Has not been modified from standard other than a cd player by the previous owner ( it would have had a tape deck!). Also has 2 remote fobs, 3 keys and a 4th plastic key blade. No s hist book but every other book is in the pack. Service light is still in the green though. i have the v5c, mot till end of november, tax till end of july, and just under 1/4 tank of fuel. at least 5mm of tread,the vehicle has covered 140000 miles and paintwork is immaculate, there is one tiny scratch on the bootlid but this is only surface deep and not through to the metal, it has electric mirrors, electric windows and electric sunroof, front and rear fog lamps, BMW alarm system fitted and would benefit from another alarm fob as current one is tempremental, it has full on board computer with no missing pixels in the display, i even have the little torch in the glovebox,lots of service history with the car and most of it was carried out by BMW themselves, i also have a stack of receipts for the car, also many from BMW dealers, The car could benefit from having a new thrust bearing fitted as the current one is a bit noisy, but does not affect the gear selection or driving, the pulley on the air conditioning has been removed due to failure but i do have another one to replace it, there is a slight rip in the drivers bolster part of the seat, this is due to wear only and the rest of the interior is unmarked, all in all this is a genuine solid reliable car, it does not show signs of a car this age. Basics:I am selling my BMW E46 328Ci SE after owning it for over 2 years. Reason for sale is purely down to lack of use (only 3000 miles in 2 years!!) as I often work away and when I am here I am normally kept busy with my classic car. It has a long MOT, Expiry is 13th of Feb 2013, tax falls into the cheaper tax band, £220 per year or £121 for 6months. I am the registered keeper and have V5. It was bought from a known local garage as HPI clear. In February the following work was carried out:Oil and oil filter change, using fully synthetic oilNew radiator fittedNew thermostat and thermostat housing fittedNew Water pump fittedEngine coolant replaced with new BMW recommended G48Set of new front wiper blades fittedNew front offside brake caliper fittedBrake fluid change.New front lower control arms fitted.New control arm bushes fitted.The new radiator, thermostat, housing and waterpump were fitted due to the common weakness, now completely renewed.New front suspension bushes/wishbones fitted after MOT so now is as good as new. It runs very well and drives wonderfully. Brakes are good, exhaust good, temperature and oil pressure good, everything as you would expect from a 65k miles BMW. Chain driven so no need to worry about cam belt changes.Interior:Black leather interior with wood dash trim.
