Original factory spec low milage (65,000) 325 Auto in excellent condition. MOT until June 2012 and not used since so should pass MOT no problem. The car ...> is constantly under cover and not being used so Iv`e decided to sell after owning since May 2001. It would benefit from a new hood (£600) as it has the original one fitted which is 23 years old now. There is a small hole in the rear nearside bumper trim caused by bird dropping which was unnoticed when parked up and ate it`s way through the chrome. Some of the chrome join covers have `faded` on the bumpers and the black plastic trim would benefit from `blackening`. The sound deadening under the bonnet is getting old and tired. There is a brand new battery fitted with four year transferable warranty..The car drives like new. Good tyres all round. CD player face off Radio fitted but never used. (I like the sound of the six cylinder engine).Inspection welcomed almost any time by appointment. The car is on sale elsewhere so it may be remove from this site if sold at anytime.This is an unmolested example which is as original as when it left the factory. Gentle summer use only by elderly owner. Only reason for sale is that it`s taking up space, hardly gets used and I just fancy a change! A nice car for someone. X | £2000.00  |

| Hi, welcome to my auction of my dads pride and joy, who was given by his father in 1992. We have all of the paper work from new including the purchase ...> invoice from Gerrards Cross BMW in 1989 where my granddad purchased the car for £27.297.22. We also have every MOT to present and all the service history paperwork and stamps in the service book. We have all the keys. Always garaged from new and i can honestly say its never seen a rainy day, only good old British summers. | The Car | BMW 325I Sport Convertible Automatic | MOT-04-2013 | TAX-08-2012 | Finshed in metallic Royal blue paintwork with no dents not even parking dings because it was only taken out when the weather was nice and never left unoccupied. There is no rust or any corrosion on the bodywork or underneath. | Beige leather interior which are in very very good condition with no rips atall and has never been smoked in atall. It has the orginal carpets that came with the car from the factory inc the stereo. Basically everything in and outside the car is ORIGINAL. | The manual roof is immaculate and is always treated to preserve the mohair. I would say it looks brand new with only minor ware when opening and closing. | The wheels are original and in very good condition with only minor kerb marks on them, which me and my brother have touched up and are impossible to notice. The tyres are literally new because we decided to renew them for the mot. | The engine is a 2.5 litre straight six engine which is one of bmw`s classic creations which pulls like a train. It has been serviced every 5,000miles with the cambelt changed twice during its life for peace of mind. No rattles or odd noises what so ever, we took the car to our local bmw dealer and paid £65 for them to just check the car over and the mechanic said it was one of the cleanest ones he has ever seen. There are no leaks coming from the engine, gearbox or diff. | Overall the car is better than superb and the new owner will really feel that they are back in the 80`s and that they are driving a new car. | Thank you for taking your time to read this advert. I have only owned this car for about 6 months, and have had a lot of work carried out on it in that time, however I was offered a Z3M Roadster a while ...> ago at a price I couldn`t refuse. I hoped to be able to keep them both but now realise I can`t afford it so, with regret, the E30 needs to be sold.The car is a 1990 BMW 325i convertible and is a manual with cloth heated seats. The hood is manual and I have had a brand new canvas in dark blue fitted so rear window is new too.The car has also just had a full service including oil, spark plugs, air filter, coolant, cambelt, tensioners and alternator and pas belts. It ran very well indeed when I bought it, but due to low mileage covered in the last few years hadn`t had a service done recently so I had it carried out. The temp gauge was reading very low due to a sticking thermostat, so the this was changed at the same time and it also had a new set of wiper blades. It has a service book full of BMW dealer stamps including the most recent service in December. I have also fitted a brand new rear silencer as the old one had been replaced with a DTM upswept exhaust which did not look good! Car is in very good condition through out, the drivers seat sponge and cloth has been replaced with a second hand item at some point so no rips, tears or wear. It also has heated front seats which work well.The bodywork is in very good condition, I had it machine polished and it has come up really well. Wheel edges have been refurbished so look really great, tyres are nearly new and all have about 7mm of tread left on them. One of the foglights was cracked and letting in water so this has been replaced with a new unit.The car drives really well with clutch and gearbox in excellent condition. All electric windows and central locking work as they should, no known faults with car. Has single play cd player with usb socket.Car has covered 164,000 miles in total, though only done about 10k in last 10 years, it has been very well looked after and feels like it has only covered half that mileage. It is clear the car has had a lot of money spent on it over the years, including the not inconsiderable amount I have spent on it. I would encourage any inspection of the car to support this. The car has just passed an MOT so has 12 months MOT until May 2013 and has tax until end of September 2012.I do not expect to cover all the costs I have incurred on the car and am asking a fair price for it. As just about everybody knows, the Bavarians are excelling at a minimum of two things, rear wheel drive cars and beer. Having already established itself as premium manufacturer of sporty vehicles in the 1980s, BMW kept upping its ante to the point where it almost became unrecognizable. To be more exact, BMW cars became larger and heavier in the next two decades. Sure, they weren't the only ones whose cars kept gaining inches and pounds over the years, but until about five years ago, the Bavarians were no longer having a compact(ish) model to brag about. Logically, the BMW E30's modern successor would be the BMW E90 3-Series. Except that it isn't. In the past two decades, the 3-Series became almost as big as a 20-year old something 5-Series, while the gap left under it remained empty. Then, 2004 came. Technically a true spiritual successor to the BMW E30, the 1-Series almost made as much sense in the Bavarian lineup as the Golf did in the Volkswagen one. Compact in size, rear wheel drive and an almost perfect front/rear axle/weight ratio, what more could you want from an entry-level BMW? Well, some clients wanted more than a hatchback, so the 1-Coupe came three years later. And what would a coupe be without a topless sibling? Enter the 1-Series Cabriolet. The Cabriolet version of the 1-Series Coupe, which in turn is based on the 1-Series Hatchback, which also shares some of its components with the over-inflated 3-Series... [pause for breathing]... was launched in 2007. It thus filled the 14-year old void left by the interruption of the last truly compact 3-Series E30 Cabriolet in 1993. All the BMW four-seat cabriolets which followed that one were more and more oversized therefore not qualifying as true successors. We became acquainted with our first Cabriolet from BMW in the form of a petrol-engined 1-Series Convertible, in 120i guise. Equipped with a high-revving two-liter four-banger and a six-speed manual gearbox, we couldn't have asked for more in terms of true BMW sportiness and driving pleasure. Diesel versions are impressively frugal and the larger engines have plenty of power. Residual values will be solid. Against Not the prettiest of drop-tops and some of the petrol engines need to be worked surprisingly hard. M Sport models have a firm ride and some interior trim isn’t up to usual BMW standards. For us, the 120d supplies the best balance between pace and running costs and it's refined too. The smaller petrol engines are rather short on grunt, while the higher powered petrol and diesel models push the price too high. Entry-level ES trim supplies all the basics, but stepping up to SE adds the kind of luxuries that many premium badge buyers will expect. M Sport adds a fetching bodykit, but it also has firmer suspension settings that make the ride less forgiving. Running costs for the diesel models are low, thanks partly to BMW’s clever Efficient Dynamics measures, which helps towards stunning fuel economy and CO2 emissions. Petrol versions are cleaner and more frugal than many rivals, but by any standards the 135i seems unnecessarily pricey. BMW offers three- or five-year fixed price servicing packages that can be sold on to future owners.
