that is avery cheap to replace). It has a very powerful (143bhp) inter cooled straight 6 engine that sounds like a V8. The M51 engine alone sells for £375, see here. The bodywork is in incredible condition (see pictures). The interior is also very well kept. The previous owner was a 60 year old man who had it from new. There are currently no clunks, rattles bangs or groans; this is a cracking, solid car.As stated above the car had a brand new turbo fitted at around 107k miles which is apparently a reasonably common fault with this model, so one less thing to worry about.The car was last serviced and MOT`d in January of this year and is mechanically excellent with the bodywork in great condition.The only fault that I am aware of on the car is that the rear wash/wipe has stopped working recently, though this could be something as simple as a fuse. Good tyres with spare also in good condition. It has a detachable tow hook and power coupling which stows neatly in the boot. It has an onboard computer, electric windows all round, cruise control, remote central locking, 2 keys, remote boot, climate control. Boot mounted multi-changer CD player. BMW upgraded Business cassette/radio. Walnut dashboard and door trims. It has tilt adjustable steering wheel, power assisted steering, ABS brakes, Dynamic Stability control, cruise control, alarm, immobiliser, roof rails, multi-function steering wheel including cruise and audio controls, locking wheel nuts, fog lights, self levelling rear suspension, rear passenger reading lights, electric mirrors, auto-dimming rear view mirror, heated washers, glove compartment BMW torch. New brake pads and sensors all round. New water pump and thermostat. Gearbox and clutch is very good and drives well. The body is exceptional, with no rust and only the odd age related mark / stonechip and a slight scrape on the nearside rear wheel arch. The alloys are very good, but have the usual marks. There are one or two stone chips and a mark on the rear near side wheel arch that the aircon garage did but denied!! The interior, and especially the boot area needs a good clean. | I’m only selling as it rarely gets used now, especially as i`ve bough an Audi Allroad 2.7t to do it`s job. It usually lives in my warm, dry warehouse which has helped keep its body so well. a 330i M Sport tourer, post facelift, built October 2001. It`s currently showing 158k (the photos are a month or so old). I`ve owned the car for very nearly 3 years, and I`ve put 40k miles on it in that time. The car is super reliable, has never let me down, and runs beautifully. She`s a fantastic car to drive, has all the power you could ever need, and as much practicality as you really need too. I have service receipts from my local garage for all the time I`ve owned it, and there`s a sheaf of bumph from previous owners as well.Options are as follows (I think I`ve got the original sales invoice somewhere, the new cost was well over £36k iirc) | Full black leatherElectric sports seats with memoryZenonsElectric sunroof.Trim is dark wood, unusual on a Sport.Other changes include:Carbon strut brace (fitted by previous owner)Powerflex bushesNew alloys, less than a year old. Supplied by BM Autosport, they are 18" e92 M3 replicas in black and chrome. There is a bit of kerbing on two of them, quite minor, I`ve photographed the two offending wheels, the other two are perfect.I`ve fitted a central single DIN conversion, but I`m not selling the head unit with the car. There`s a standard ISO connector behind there, and I can supply the factory unit with the car as well, but I`m leaving the single DIN mount in place. Also in the boot is the origianl CD changer, but this has never been connected in my ownserhip fo the car, so I can`t confirm whether ti works or not.I`ve replaced the central console with twin cupholders. It was originally a dock for a Motorolla V50 (also included!).Black kidneys. Chrome originals in the boot.De-badged at rear, the "330i" badges are in the glove box.Known issues:the beginnings of rust can be seen around the arches, presumably caused by the build-up of muck underneath. This is visible to the front of both rear arches, and to the rear of the front arches. None of this is anything other than cosmetic, and given the age and mileage of the car, I decided it wasn`t worth paying to get fixed, but if you have the skills, it should be fairly straightforward.Front discs are brand new, but rear disc wear indicator light is now showing, but they should be good for the MOT.Inpection service overdue.The car uses some oil. This is due to a minor leak somewhere, I`m told. I add about 1 litre of oil every 2-3k miles.A few parking scuffs and stone chips. Nothing outrageous for the age and mileage of the car.All four tyres will probably need replacing for the MOT (the rears may scrape through with an advisory, but the fronts certainly won`t). | The car is currently in Leicestershire, but will soon be back in Hertfordshire and available for viewings. No time waster please, I`m happy to show the car but if you want to drive it, I`ll need to see appropriate fully comp insurance for it. that is economical to own and fabulous to drive. This is our second 320D Touring and we have had it for just over two years. They are beautifully built cars that are a joy to drive, especially if you enjoy a bit of speed and are lucky enough to have some good roads around you! The car has had just one keeper before us. The V5 says 2 former keepers because the garage we bought it off managed to record a change of owner when they tax it for us as part of the purchase deal! (DP Automotive at East Heckington) I am not going to drone on about all it`s spec` and equipment, there are plenty of web sites that will tell you all about the BMW 320D ES As far as I am aware the only optional extras on this car are the M series steering wheel and gear knob. Both fitted from new. The full BMW toolkit roll is still in the boot and the rechargeable torch is in the glove box. First aid kit from under passenger seat is missing or removed because of being out of date by now ? We have two keys plus a plastic one, all handbooks and keyrings Mileage on the car is 106500 and the service book shows it`s service record with the dates and miles of when services were carried out as below: Delivery check - Sept 05, 23029 Mar 07, 46562 Sept 08 and 64153 Aug 09 by BMW before we purchased the car. Then 85901 Dec 10 by us. This was a big service including oils, fuel and air filters, pre filter, crank case breather and pollen filter. Since then it has had another oil and filter change in Oct 11 when the MOT was last done. It was not due but I had it done at half distance between official intervals on recommendation. Please come and see the car if you can. Those not near enough can take my pictures as a very genuine indication of it`s condition. I am sure I am right to say this one is better than the average although at 7 years old it has not escaped without a little wear and tare, stone chips etc. The only real notably damaged is a front nearside bumper scratch, this has been rather amateurishly touched in but a pro` could have it back as new in no time. Please see photo 12. No other faults that I know of. The car has TAX (August) and MOT (October) and is still in daily use so I can take anyone out for a run who wishes. If you want to drive I would like to see insurance please. Tyres and Alloys are all good, Two Bridgestone’s on the back have been put on by us, spare is a steel space saver. repair back to a good working condition, would make an excellent project car. The tax is due at the end of this month and the MOT is due on 6th of June.It is a sound runner, and has never failed to start first time. I got the car with around 90k miles on the clock and have put another 30k miles on it including going down to Spain and back. You will be able to drive away in this car but it will need work to get it through it`s next MOT which is due in a few weeks.I`ve tried to describe below the problems. I do approx 50,000 motorway miles a year and it is a great car. I get on average 60 miles per gallon without having to try. This can be shown on the on board computer. The car has Pirelli tyres on the from and Continental on the rear. The car is ready to drive away without hassle. As you can see from the pictures there is rust on the both front wings, this is common on 3 series BMW. I was going to get it spray or even replace the wings as they are bolted on so a quick and easy fix.However it does not bother me in the slightest. New Battery New head gasket and the head was skimmed New water pump ( thats why the head gasket went) New Oil Pump Bad points, Slight rattle on cold from the exhaust , i think one of the silencers has a loose baffle or heat shield, The body work has the usual dings and scratches, nothing major The remote on the keys do not work, although the car can be locked using the key in lock ( old school) Airbag light is on, it was on when we bought it and has never bothered us. Drivers door mirror glass is cracked. The car comes with a wad of history from the previous owners, all the windows work, the a/c works, the cd changer and radio work . I can`t really think of anything bad to say about it, i have just driven it on a 100 mile round trip this morning and it drives brilliantly. The car is over 12 years old and has 111k on the clock, the interior is in excellent condition , none of the seats are worn . The boot area has a luggage mat and the toneau cover is in place. The auto box changes smoothly up and down with no faults. The car is ready to drive away, the tax runs out at the end of september and the MOT is march 2013. No reserve , i am open to offers as i want the car out of the way. The car is in Chelmsford , Essex . About 20 mins from J28 on the M25 or 20 mins from Stansted Airport . had no problems with it what so ever and have always started first time and drives fantastic. It’s done 109,046 miles which is pretty low compared to other cars its age. | It is in great condition for its age inside and out. It is MOT’d until December but the tax runs out in May, hence the price. The car is chain driven so need to replace the cambelt. This is great car practical for the money. | There are only two minor bad bits about the car, the boot rear shocks are on their way out as the boot sometimes stays open then will slowly starts to close. | The other thing is the passenger side door pin. When using the central locking the door pin will sometimes stick so the door will not open, it’s just a case of leaning over and pulling the pin. Been driving the Beemer at the weekends as the 12 yr old car is 10x better than a brand new Renault.Just had over £800 on a service and MOT in december, with new rear strut tops, front and rear bushes, 2 rear tyres, new fuel filter, rear shocks, new battery.The car is an absolute motorway muncher, the last 40k have mostly been on these roads on cruise control, she averages 42.9-43.2mpg overall with a mix of town and motorway driving and is as good as they get.There are a few niggly marks, they were all on the car when i got it, including some kerbing to alloys, 3 little rust dots on one of the rear doors (see picture), a fingernail dent in the d pillar, some scratches to the leather on the rear doors, some marks on boot floor carpet and some rust on front ns wheel arch. Additonally the rear parking sensors do not work, they never have, but it never bothered me as the back end is so blunt, the parts are readily available on ebay as its a common fault, just need replacement bumper sensors.Dont buy a new car, buy a REAL car. I have had a couple of issues, the engine started missing once, and within a day it was down to 5 cylinders. I later had the loom replaced for peace of mind.A rear brake caliper seized and had to be replaced nsr, the air con stopped working, a split hose was replaced and the system recharged in 2010.Dear matt_csl_nut,Service history is mostly complete. log shows, 12k, 22k, 35k, 49k, 64k, 80k, 97k, and 140k Main dealer or BMW independant with the exception of one service.
